The Minyan Continues to Grow
Since January
2006, the Minyan has been an official organization within
Leisure World, with officers and bylaws. With the legal assistance of Elli Schorr living with his family in The Minyan, along with all organizations, has been invited to participate and celebrate Leisure World's 40th anniversary on Thursday, September 21. We are very excited and will be having a table with information about the Minyan. We look forward to meeting you there. Leisure World

The Minyan is currently looking for residents wishing to be active or make charitable contributions. Please contact Kit Kirshenbaum, Vantage West, 301-598-0883.

As for 2009, questions are always being asked of the Kirshenbaums in Kemp Mill and some Leisure World residents when an orthodox Minyan may take place. “It only takes ten”, so with Hashem’s help we may one day have that Minyan and new residents moving into Leisure World to support the Minyan. As always, our goal for the Minyan organization is to be an active part of the Jewish Residents of Leisure World.
L'Shana Tova- 5770!
Happy New Year to everyone and may this year
bring good health, long life, peace and prosperity.
